Membership in Historic Somerville Inc. is open to all who are interested in learning more about the local history of Somerville, MA. and who subscribe to the mission of  Historic Somerville.  Memberships run from January 1st to December 31st of the current year.  Historic Somerville will email you your dues receipt, which is a tax-deductible charitable donation.  Thank you for joining us! We strongly encourage the use of email to avoid postage costs and to save trees.

  • General Member

    General membership is open to all interested individuals as noted above.

  • Institutional Member

    The category of institutional member is open to all organizations that are generally educational, not-for-profit,  or public-service in orientation.

  • Senior or Student

    The category of senior is open to all interested people as above, who are over the age of 60.  The membership is a discounted at the rate of 50% less than the general membership.

    The category of student member is open to all interested people as above, who are either under the age of 18 or can provide evidence of full-time student status.  The membership is a discounted at the rate of 50% less than the general membership.

  • Corporate Donor

    The category of corporate donor is open to all corporations, who are committed to the mission of Historic Somerville, Inc. and who donate at the $50 level.

  • Contributor

    Contributors are members of Historic Somerville, who show their commitment to the organization, by donating at an annual level of $26-$50.
  • Friend

    The category of friend is open to all persons, institutions or corporations who would qualify for general membership, institutional member or corporate donor, but who show their very real commitment to the goals of Historic Somerville, by donating annual dues of $51-$100.
  • Patron

    The category of patron is open to all persons, institutions or corporation who would qualify for general membership, institutional membership or corporate donor, but who show their extraordinary commitment to the goals of Historic Somerville, by donating annual dues of $101-$500.
  • Benefactor

    A benefactor is someone, some organization or corporation, who subscribes to the mission of Historic Somerville and generously donates at the level of $500 or above in a 12 month period.
